Nepali Dristi Dahal Won The Title Of Little Miss World Universe 2014.

Diristi Dahal a Nepali girl has won the ‘Little Miss World Universe’ title which was held in Turkey. The program was organised in Turkey where the little Miss-native country took part from all over the world. Total of 43 contestants took part in the event from twenty two countries all over the world. This is the first time that any Nepali girl has won a top title in any beauty events held worldwide. Diristi Dahal is a 12 years old contestant, who previously won Little Miss Nepal title in the contest held in Febrary this year in Nepal and got chance to represent in Little Miss World Universe and got chance to make country proud showing her talent and was sucessful as well. 

Diristi Dahal is from Morang Urlabari, Nepal. She along with title of Little Miss World Universe won the title of Miss-Talent as well. Diristi was in the stage with the wardrobe designed by Binjana Gurung. The dress was made in such a way that it clearly represented typical Nepali culture. Diristi got a chance to show a Nepali folk dance in the stage as well. Her dance got a huge response from the judges and the viewrs who were present there.

The Little Miss World Universe contest is continuously being organised in Turkey since the last 21 years. This was the first time a Nepali was featured and was able to make Nepal famous at the same time as well. Diristi Dahal was seen very happy after winning the title. She had some rolling tears after her name was announced as the title holder.

Previously in the contest held in Nepal she won the title and the other result was as below.  She was only the girl who got chance to represent Nepal in the international level from this event.

Subin Limbu crowned as Miss Nepal 2014.

Subin Limbu from Dharan has won the Miss Nepal title this year. Subina defeated 18 more contestents to win the title. Subin Limbu specially enjoys writting, studying and poetry and is 5 ft. 8 inches tall. She had to give answer to the question of former Army Chief Rupmangat Katawal. Rupmangat Katwal asked a question which stated, 'If you won the title of Miss Nepal, what suggestions would you do provide to the youths of Nepal to create the job opportunity with staying here in Nepal?' Subin gave the wonderful answer to this answer which was good enough to win the title.
Subin Limbu was first runner up in Miss Mongol 2010 as well. Subin with winning the title won Rs 1 lakhs rupees along with the opportunity to take part in Miss World this year.

Similarly, Prinsa Shrestha was crowned as 1st runner up and Soni Rajbhandari was crowned as 2nd runner up. They respectively won 65 thousands and 40 thousands . Prinsa will represent Nepal in Miss Earth and Soni will represent Nepal in Miss International later this year. 

Likewise,  Shitoshna Ban was Miss Photogenic, Lakpa Tamang was Miss talent, Prinsa Shrestha was Miss Complexion, Rashmi Adhikari won the title of Beautiful Hair.
Similarly, Miss Punctual title was won by  Alisa Kunwar, Miss Stylish title was won by Soni Rajbhandari, Miss Public award was won by Wanpo Sherpa. Prinsa Shrestha also won the title of Miss Beauty With Purpose. Miss Friendship title was won by Soni Rajbhandari. Similarly, Miss Personality award was won by Pranayanaa KC.
There were total 18 finalist in the contest. The 18 finalist were, Prinsa Shrestha, Barsa Rai, Priyanka Jhaa, Lampaa Tamang, Subin Limbu, Priyanka Jha Bhandari, Neha Bajaj, Namita Gurung, Grishma Basnet, Rasmita Maharjan, Sitosma Ban, Alisa Kunwar, Sarala Nepal, Rashmi Adhikari, Soni Raj Bhandari, Aastha Pokhrel, Ranjita Bhetwal, Pranayana KC and Richa Bhatterai.
Anil Mallik, Pranaye Raj Sthapit, Sahana Bajracharya, Pramadaa Shah, Namrata Sharma, Ashutosh Tiwari, Shiwani Thapa Basnet, Surya Jyoti and Sabina Shrestha Pradhan were the judges in the today's grand finalle.
